Lindsay Lohan recently revealed that she is looking forward to star in an upcoming biopic about Ann-Margret Olsson, a classic Swedish singer.

While the project is still in the pipeline and is yet to move forward, Lohan expressed her desire to play the spectacular role of the actor who is best known for starring in films such as Pocketful of Miracles and Newsies.

Expressing her interest in the role in a recent interview with Bustle, Lohan shared: “I really want to play Ann-Margret, and we’re trying to find a writer for that story.”

“She’s a triple threat, and she’s an amazing woman on top of that. So I just really want to do her justice and help tell a great story for her,” she explained.

The Mean Girls alum has always been into biopics. 

In 2011, there were speculations about the actress playing Stevie Nicks in a film about Fleetwood Mac singer.

However, the rumors turned out to be false and the project never aired.

Lohan is recently bombarded with an abundance of new projects in order to help the The Parent Trap star “reclaim her throne” as Hollywood royalty.
